✨ Dayna Pereira ✨

BIO:

Hey Guys! I'm Dayna Pereira. A self proclaimed Participation Trophy Wife, Podcast Host, Creator of The Entertainers Network, and YouTube personality. What, you wonder, is a participation trophy wife? I'm so glad you asked! A participation trophy wife means that I don't always nail it in life, but I'm doing the best I can. I am constantly learning, growing and evolving so I at least get the participation trophy. I heal by leaning into my imperfections, making people laugh, dropping a few cuss words, and a splash (tidal wave) of wine. You can find both of my shows on all podcast platforms and youtube! (Check out their respective links for more info.)

I am the PROUD Creator of The Entertainers Network! In today's world, we all have huge platforms to showcase our talents and there is so much of it out there. Being a person that has launched two shows (and didn't start until my late 30's), I know exactly how daunting it can be to try so hard to get your name out there and grow. The Entertainers Network is a way for people to be featured, write interviews, get published, become searchable, and add to their media! My biggest dream would be to showcase someone on The Entertainers Network, and then that person go on to be the next big name in their industry. I am featuring entertainers in every genre. Artists, Writers, Podcasters, Actors, Models, Singers, Dancers, Comedians, etc... I have such big goals for the site and so many ideas on ways to showcase people. I hope to make The Entertainers Network a HUB for Entertainers to learn, grow, connect, laugh, commiserate, and get advice. I hope you'll follow along at https://TheENetwork.com ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

Interview Series

1. If you could live out your WILDEST dream with no fear of failure, what would you be doing?

My wildest dream would be running a HUB for entertainers. A space where entertainers go for advice on chasing their dreams, mentorship, to read articles, hear success stories, hear FAILURE stories, and feel supported and uplifted. In my wildest dream that would lead to trips around the world, hearing peoples stories, witnessing successes, and being a part of a community of high vibin’ positive people that always cheer each other on.

2. What is the most memorable, funniest, or craziest thing that has happened to you on your entertainment journey?

I think my interview with Carole Baskin takes the cake still. I was SO nervous. I prepared like a maniac. I truly didn’t even think she was going to show up…and then SHE DID. Honestly, I nailed the interview. It reminded me that I CAN DO BIG THINGS.

Another time I had a big interview, I stupidly scheduled it for a Monday morning at 11 am after my birthday weekend. I celebrated all weekend long, and felt like my brain was a bag of rocks on interview day. LOL. It took me 3 weeks to listen to the interview and when I did, I realized that it wasn’t as bad as I thought it was. It was my best work either, but it was passable. Lesson learned! No more Monday morning interviews…. I think that was the lesson. 😂

3. Congratulations! You just hit the lottery for 100 million dollars! What do you spend it on?

I would disappear! Ok, probably not. I wouldn’t tell anyone though. My husband and I would live in our same house. We would secretly pay off our families mortgages like little mortgage elfs, we would continue to support a few charities we love but on a larger scale, and we would travel the world soaking in all of the different cultures and talking to every different person. Hearing people’s stories will always be my favorite and to hear them from around the world would be a dream.

4. Do you have any hidden talents or party tricks?

I can blow bubbles off my tongue! I’m not sure when I discovered this, but I still do it randomly to this day. I’m also pretty good at pig latin.

5. What advice would you give to your younger self?

There’s a lot there. I wish I could go back and tell myself that I was enough. That I don’t need to win the approval of others and put myself in a constant competition. Love doesn’t divide, it multiplies. And to allow myself to feel feelings rather than numb then or turn them to anger. Although my past was rough, I am proud of the person that decided to make steps toward change so I could be who I am today. I am enough.

6. Who, in the entertainment industry, do you love that you think more people should know about? Why? Shout them out and spread the love!

Every Single Person that I promote on The Entertainers Network. Keep chasing those dreams, and keep shining, Friends ✨⭐️✨
