✨Rae Radick ✨

Rae Radick singer songwriter country music

BIO:

I often describe myself as, “The Love Child of Shania Twain + Miranda Lambert + a dash of New York City.” I recently opened for Miranda Lambert, Brett Young, and Maddie & Tae at Citadel Country Spirit Music Festival in 2021. I stand for the new wave of feminism: a working woman who doesn’t mind getting her hands dirty, yet can light up the room in a dress. I advocate for fans to stay true to themselves in a filter based world. I have been a singer/songwriter since I was sixteen. Hailing from Bucks County, Pennsylvania I’ve lived in New York City for the past eight years. I tour internationally and record in Nashville. I’ve been featured on Front Range Radio, Q-Star Radio, and numerous blog articles as “Artist of the Week.” My venue credits include: Hilton Hotel in Atlantic City, Fox and Friends, Shea Stadium, Intrepid Museum, Queen Mary in San Diego, Brooklyn Bowl, The Bitter End, Rockwood Music Hall, Red Lion, and Pete's Candy store to name a few. I write original music for feature films. My influences of artists such as Shania Twain, Maren Morris, and Fleetwood Mac are transcendent in my sound. Mixing my Pennsylvania roots with New York City’s spirit, my sound is a supreme balance of pop and country. Struggles of relationships, growth, nostalgia, and freedom are continuous themes that appear in my writing.

Interview Series

1. If you could live out your WILDEST dream with no fear of failure, what would you be doing?

My wildest dream is to become a famous singer/songwriter and actress– similar to Lady Gaga, Cher, and Dolly Parton. I have always dreamt of this since I was a child.I want to inspire people across the globe and touch them with stories, whether I’m singing them or acting them. The more famous I am, the more I’d give back to the world. I would LOVE to accompany Bon Jovi with his foundation that builds homes for homeless veterans. I want to be a role model that encourages people to be themselves and do things on their own terms, despite what society deems as “acceptable,” as well as encourage social media to be taken lightly. I see, and personally experience, depression and anxiety from social media, and it’s important to take care of the teenagers who are influenced by these unreal filters at such a vulnerable age.

2. What is the most memorable, funniest, or craziest thing that has happened to you on your entertainment journey?

One of the craziest things that happened to me on my journey was I saw Luke Bryan at Madison Square Garden and panicked. I’ve met lots of famous people before and not one to get starstruck, but to my surprise I froze like a vegetable in Luke’s presence. I was backstage for the Lee Brice concert hanging out with the band, and as I was on my way to the bathroom Luke Bryan passed me and I completely froze. I lost control of my body (so basically stopped mid-walk and froze) and my mind went blank. Thank God he didn’t ask me any questions because I would have forgotten my own name. He’s taller than I thought and smelled like fresh cologne. I’ve never had an experience like that before or since

3. Congratulations! You just hit the lottery for 100 million dollars! What do you spend it on?

If I won the lottery for $100 million dollars I’d first buy residences in Nashville and NY. Then I would pay my parent’s mortgage on their house. I’d invest a percentage, and give the remaining balance to Wounded Warriors, St. Jude, US Veterans Corp, Girls Inc., Black Women Lead, and Equality Federation.

4. Do you have any hidden talents or party tricks?

A fun party trick of mine is I can cross my eyes and singularly move each eye side to side. I also can do a split while playing guitar and singing.

5. What advice would you give to your younger self?

Advice I’d give to my younger self is to begin piano and guitar lessons earlier in life. As well as the importance of practicing. I’d encourage my younger self to continue dancing in the basement, writing songs, feeding the imagination, and daydreaming of being on the radio and TV.

6. Who, in the entertainment industry, do you love that you think more people should know about? Why? Shout them out and spread the love!

Someone in the entertainment business that I think people should know more about is the band, Rann. They’re a fantastic trio that are songwriters, singers, producers, and excellent musicians. I’ve seen them live a few times, and worked with them, and they always put on an incredible show as well as produce fantastic songs.
