Shaggie D

BIO:

Doobie snacks and 808s. Born in California but Georgia raised. Words of the wise never come at a price, unless you’re a rapper cause I gotta get paid.

I never knew my biological father nor do I want to. My real dad, who raised me, was my best friend and life coach. Without his guidance I’d be dead. RIP Steve.

I was so heavily concerned with success and money that I missed out on his biggest lesson. Family is more important than anything else. After his death, I learned that lesson. All the money in the world can’t buy back time. So through my music I share all my mistakes through the form of energetic, hard hitting, bass thumping music. You’ll hear about my drug misuse to my fights with my inner enemy and my battle with aggression and depression.

I refuse to make any sad music, so any depressing lyrics are positioned on a happy beat to share my mistakes and how I triumphed over them or how I’d like to triumph over them. Deep down we are all the same just different cover art.

Interview Series

1. If you could live out your WILDEST dream with no fear of failure, what would you be doing?

I would be on stage right now performing for my fans worldwide. Giving my fans the entertainment with an exciting show to relive, seeing their faces happy is worth more to me than currency.

No doubt quit my job, while doing something that would actually make my momma proud. Being able to support my family without having to sell my soul at a meaningless job is beyond a dream, it’s freedom.

2. What is the most memorable, funniest, or craziest thing that has happened to you on your entertainment journey?

Seeing hundreds if not a couple thousand faces reciting my lyrics is without a doubt in my top 3 greatest moments of my life. I never knew that many people actually consistently listen to my music. There isn’t a word that can describe that feeling. I do have some wild stories but they are R rated, so let’s save that for the future.

3. Congratulations! You just hit the lottery for 100 million dollars! What do you spend it on?

A hundred million is excessive don’t you think? After supplying my mother, brother, and fiancé with a lifetime of funds to enjoy the remaining years they have I would have my music label up and running with top notch music videos for the ideas that I have that cost more than my annual salary. I would also start a non profit charity for my hood to support creators that can’t afford to showcase their talent. This non profit WOULD NOT support millionaire’s tax evasion strategies.

4. Do you have any hidden talents or party tricks?

I can solve a Rubix cube while driving. I can play any stringed instrument by ear, in fact I’ve never taken a single lesson. When I get drunk I do tend to have multiple magic tricks that are not illusion based. More like science and math anomalies.

5. What advice would you give to your younger self?

DO NOT LISTEN TO INFLUENCERS. BUY BITCOIN. AVOID ALL MUSIC INDUSTRY DISTRIBUTION AND MARKETING COMPANIES, PAY TO PERFORM EVENTS, AND SHOWCASES. THEY ARE ALL SCAMS. BEWARE.

6. Who, in the entertainment industry, do you love that you think more people should know about? Why? Shout them out and spread the love!

Honestly, i don’t love anyone but my family. If you like MUSIC and do not care about: what’s their image, how many followers, views, do they have, what’s their opinion on blah blah blah, then look up Shaggie D.

Besides myself I’d say J.I.D. Is amazing with lyrics as well as lil Wayne. If you haven’t heard them then you’re missing out. If you don’t like them, don’t worry, I know a fantastic ear doctor that can help with whatever illness you have to fix that.
